Salim's is a neighborhood delicatessen specializing in Middle Eastern/Eastern European/Greek foods. Salim El-tahch has been in the business for more than 20 years serving Oakland, Shadyside, Bloomfield, downtown Pittsburgh and the surrounding vicinity. Salim's store includes a take-out deli, catering services and an informal eat-in dining room.

Salim carries a full selection of Mediterranean specialties from feta cheese to olives, from pita bread to hard-to-find seasonings and spices. Gyros, hummus, baba ghanough, taboulee, falafel sandwiches, Greek salads, soups, baklava and many other delicious foods are available for take-out or to eat on location.
